MBS Service Company Buyback Terms and Conditions


The Buyback Quote generated upon your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions must be enclosed with the books you are selling in order to receive the Buyback Prices quoted.

The MBS Service Company Student Buyback Program is only available to students and parents of students who are selling back books. Buyback prices valid under our Student Buyback Program do not apply to professional book retailers, wholesalers and any other individual(s) trying to sell books in bulk shipments (multiple copies of the same book, even if they appear on multiple quotes). Pricing on bulk shipments may be automatically adjusted to the wholesale price upon receipt at the discretion of BNC Virtual. If there is no current wholesale value, books will be discarded or returned at the seller’s expense.

All books being sold back to MBS Service Company that are listed in the Buyback Quote as being part of a set must include all additional items that were sold with that book, such as included CD’s, Study Guides, or maps. Any book received by MBS Service Company that was quoted as part of a set and that does not contain the additional items quoted within that set, may be adjusted in price by MBS Service Company.

MBS Service Company Buyback Quotes are valid for 30 days and MBS Service Company reserves the right to adjust the price of any Buyback Quote if the books being sold back are delivered to our facility after the 30 days has elapsed.

Once a Buyback Quote has expired, customers may generate another Buyback Quote. Customers should note that Buyback Prices can change daily and that Buyback Prices in earlier Buyback Quotes may not be the same as those in more recent Buyback Quotes.

MBS Service Company reserves the right to reject any book received that does not meet the quality standards as outlined in our FAQ section. For any book that does not meet our quality standards, MBS Service Company will notify you via email using the email address you provided in your My Account section and allow you the option of having the book returned to you at your cost. Rejected books will be held for up to 1 week from the date we notify you of such rejection and will be permanently discarded if you have not made arrangements prior to the end of the 1 week timeframe. Please note that MBS Service Company may not be able to return to you the exact book you sent to us and reserves the right to replace it with one of similar condition.

MBS Service Company’s Customer Loyalty program is applicable only on purchases made for the Fall 2006 term or later.

MBS Service Company is not responsible, under any circumstances, for any lost or damaged books.
